MAPPING THE STARS

A variety of elements in a magical space able to capture the audience’s attention in a projection. At a close look, we discover that the stars are in fact petals, and the dark night is a white background. We are invited to connect the light dots to imagine a shape, strange creatures in the sky, that keep haunting us. Every civilization invented myths and zodiacs in this manner. Ricci creates a new one, with great elegance she references famous paintings, mosaics, and frescos we can recognize with pleasure.
