Butterfly collection A poetic research, a transgression in the use of colors and focus points. As if the wings moving through the paper, creating a delicate transparency. The sequence of images is presented on one large folded paper. The frame almost imprisons the butterflies.

Mapping the Stars

Ricci’s installation conveys a magical subtlety, requiring time and grace from the audience. The zodiac she invented moves slowly connecting small and large vision of ever changing sky. When the butterflies appear on the screen, they come alive as if they were taking off in an elegant flight.
